Its opening day! The Alamo Drafthouse Sloans Lake is officially open! Im so excited for this theater to be in such a great location, it is easily accessible from Denver, Arvada, and Wheatridge. Alamo asked me to photograph some of the opening events, I was very excited as we have been regulars at the Littleton location, but since we moved a bit north, we are so excited for this location.

Have you ever been to an Alamo Drafthouse for a movie? Then you know its more than your average theater. With a full menu, full service and cocktails in the theater its an experience rather that “just a movie” The servers are quick, unobtrusive and take great care of you. No longer do you have to rush through dinner to get to your movie on time, you reserve your (very comfy) seat.

The theater sits on the site of the original St Anthony’s hospital, the owners of the Alamo made an awesome decision to incorporate designs from the hospital as you can see here…

You may have doubts about the quality of the food, but you won’t after you have finished up. With the curated menu from Executive Chef Seth Rexroad you won’t be disappointed. You can do dinner in the theater or over in BarFly.

Cold beer and fine wines are on the menu with an emphasis on highlighting local breweries, there is an awesome selection. This place is seriously amazing, it is comfortable, contemporary and is a great place to hang out.

The opening ceremonies included speeches, ribbon cutting and opening a bottle of champagne with a saber. Cheers!
