The American Association of Critical Care nurses are some of the most inspiring people. They have the responsibility of caring for acutely and critically ill patients. They have a conference every year and they came to Denver at the Colorado Convention Center for 2014. They had wonderful speakers including Jr Martinez a military survivor and Brene Brown who is a wonderful speaker that has been featured in Ted Talks etc.

They give awards to the best people in their field including the circle of excellence award, chapter awards, and visionary leadership awards. I was able to photograph amazing people being recognized both the work they had done throughout the last year as well as throughout their career. I enjoy event photography because I get to capture these special moments in their lives.
